Visa pour l’Image i Perpignan i Frankrike er den viktigste og største fotofestivalen for fotojournalistikk. Hvert år deles det ut en rekke priser og stipender. En av de gjeveste prisene er Arthus-Bertrand Visa d’or News Award som dette året gikk til New York Times-fotografen Tyler Hicks. Vinnerbildet viser en kvinne som skjuler og beskytter sine barn under terrorangrepet i Westgate kjøpesenter i Nairobi i fjor. Over 70 personer mistet livet i angrepet hvor Hicks fotograferte vinnermotivet fra etasjen over. Han eksponerte seg selv for stor fare og politiet var bekymret for sikkerheten hans.
